The ACCUPLACER utilizes an adaptive computer based system which adjusts the difficulty level of each question based on your responses to previous questions. This ensures that the questions you see are appropriate for your skill level. Because of the adaptive nature of the ACCUPLACER, candidates are encouraged to take their time to answer each question to the best of their ability, as there are no time limits on any of the tests. All questions on the ACCUPLACER are in a multiple-choice format.

What To Expect On Test Day
When you arrive to your designated testing location you will be asked to present an appropriate form of legal identification to the testing administrator prior to entry for safety and security purposes.
