I Can’t Find My College Board Test Scores On The Triton Checklist

AP grade reports for tests taken in May are sent to the colleges or universities you designated beginning July 15. You can expect actual delivery by July 22. You should have designated the institution to which your grade reports should be sent to on your answer sheets or on subsequent grade report requests.

Some grade reports take longer to reach us for four main reasons:

  • inconsistent student identification information

  • late return of exam materials to the AP program and

  • some students test late using an alternative form of the exam and

  • you may have selected the wrong school and will need to submit another order. Be sure to verify UC San Diego is the designated recipient of AP scores as there are several universities in San Diego.

  • If you requested your exams in May and they qualify for academic credit, the scores and credit will display on TritonLink in the students Academic History by July 25.

When Do College Acceptance Letters Arrive Generally

First off, when do college acceptance letters arrive, broadly speaking?

While the answer to this question really depends on what colleges you’re applying to, in general most decisions come out in the springtime, that is, in either March or early April.

The latest you might hear back from a college will be the first week of April. This is because most schools require decisions from applicants on where they want to attend by May 1.

Some colleges work together to release their decisions at the same time. The Ivy League, which is composed of eight highly prestigious colleges, releases its decisions on “Ivy Day,” a specific day at the end of March .

But what if you applied to a college early action or early decision? In these cases, since applications are due earlier , you can expect an earlier decision notification as wellusually around December.

Some schools offer secondary early decision plans called Early Decision II for which applications are due a little bit later, usually in January. For these plans,

Here is a chart showing the general trends of when college acceptance letters come out:

    Application Deadline

These days, most college acceptance letters will arrive as either an email or application status update on a college’s own application portal. Afterward, you’ll usually receive a hard copy of your acceptance letter in the mail and further updates via email or mail.

Transferring Credits Between Nationally And Regionally Accredited Schools

While nationally accredited colleges and universities often accept credits from both regionally and nationally accredited schools, regionally accredited schools only accept credits from other regionally accredited institutions.

The reason for this is because regionally accredited schools are reviewed by a specific, regional governing body that evaluates a schools curriculum and makes sure its up to the rigorous academic standards of that governing body. On the flipside, nationally accredited schools are often more vocational or trade-based in nature, as opposed to more strictly academic institutions within the regionally accredited category.

Its much easier to transfer college credits between regionally accredited schools. For instance, National University is a regionally accredited institution. So, if you have credits from another regionally accredited college or university, you may likely be able to transfer those credits to a degree program at National University. However, if youd earned those credits at a nationally accredited university, they may not successfully carry over.

Tips for keeping track of your submitted college applications:

You have undoubtedly worked hard to complete your applications and finally they are submitted! Now what? For the next few weeks, you may feel the anxiousness of the notorious college waiting game as nerves build and decision time gets closer.

So, do check and make sure you have followed all directions. If your application is incomplete, this could delay their review and your decision.

    Sign : Likely Letters:

While waiting for the decision date, your college might send you a likely letter to inform you that they have the intention of admitting you.

What is a likely letter? A likely letter is a notification letter from Colleges that may come as a message, which contains useful information regarding your admission status.

Such letters are usually received before the official admissions decisions date.

Is a likely letter a guarantee?

So then, does a Likely Letter Guarantee Admission? Yes!!! Such a letter usually indicates the colleges intent of admitting the concerned student.

This simply means any applicant that receives a likely letter is likely to be accepted, lets say 70% sure.

Meanwhile, only a few colleges sent such letters and at that point, it is always advisable for the applicant to always keep in touch and expect an acceptance letter sooner.

How Long Does It Take To Get Accepted Into Nursing School In College

College Acceptance Letters Get Seriously Dark, Beginning ...

Getting accepted into nursing school is usually not that difficult as long as you meet your colleges requirements. I had always planned on being a nurse, so I was always working as hard as I could to keep my grades up in all of my classes.

What I basically did was this: I first worked with the school advisers , and had already signed up for the Pre-nursing plan. Of course, you dont officially get counted as a nursing student until you get accepted into the program.

For the first 2 years , I just took the required core classes at my local college. These consisted of really basic classes . I also had a few prerequisite classes for the nursing program .

At my college, you had to have a certain GPA, and a certain amount of credit hours completed before you could apply for the nursing program. Each college can be different on this, so I would recommend you check with an advisor or online schedule to see the specifics for your program.

If memory serves, I think it was a minimum GPA of somewhere between 2.0- 2.5 . But again, this will vary from school to school so check with your local college advisor.

Towards the end of my 2nd year, I applied to nursing school. I had to submit a letter of why I wanted to be a nurse, my completed courses, and so forth. Then, I received my letter congratulating me on being accepted! It was that easy.

Confirm Your Spot And Submit Your Deposit

The deadline for your response will most likely be May 1, so be sure to contact your chosen college by this date. At this time, you should also submit your non-refundable deposit to the college. This college tuition deposit ensures youll have a spot in the new class.

Note that this deposit may not be refunded under any circumstances, even if you change your mind or get admitted off the waitlist for a different college youd rather attend.

Do All Law Schools Require The Lsat

In February 2016, the University of Arizona College of Law announced that it would consider applicants who had taken the LSAT or applicants who had taken the Graduate Records Examination .

A year later, Harvard Law School followed suit.

Since then, additional schools have announced that they will also accept the GRE, including:

    • Columbia Law School
    • University of California, Los Angeles School of Law

Still, its a good idea to take the LSAT.

    • Only about 24 schools accept the GRE in lieu of the LSAT, so taking only the GRE would limit which law schools you can apply to.
    • In addition, taking the LSAT demonstrates your commitment to law school, while taking the GRE may indicate that youre considering several different graduate school paths.
