How Long Are Credits Good For At A Community College
Many community college credits from an accredited school stay good indefinitely. For example, a composition class that you took years ago is probably still relevant today, so you may be able to transfer that credit to another institution.
Not all subjects boast such longevity, though. Coursework in some fields can quickly become outdated. When it comes to classes related to technology, engineering, or even some types of science, the credits might lose their value within 10 years or less.
How To Transfer College Credits To Another State
Transferring to an out-of-state university provides California students a chance to branch out to complete their degree. Public out-of-state universities charge higher tuitions to non-residents, so consider looking for a participating institution of the Western Interstate Commission for Higher Education . WICHE offers the Western Undergraduate Exchange Program . If accepted, California residents only pay 1.5 times the in-state tuition rate in 14 neighboring states. States that participate with California include Alaska, Arizona, Colorado, Hawaii, Idaho, Montana, Nevada, New Mexico, North Dakota, Oregon, South Dakota, Utah, Washington and Wyoming.

Are Community College Credits Transferable
Yes, the classes that you take at an accredited community college will often be eligible for transferable credit.
Sometimes, credits transfer smoothly from one school to another because the two institutions have articulation agreements with each other. An articulation agreement means that the four-year school has agreed to automatically accept certain classesor even entire associate degreesfrom the community college.

Craig Bohl Has Unique Way Of Trying To Bring Transfer Qb To Wyoming
More and more college football programs are leaning on the transfer portal to bring in talent immediately. This is not a secret, and the Wyoming Cowboys are embracing it even more than most.
The Cowboys on Friday posted a message from coach Craig Bohl to the teams twitter page that basically served as a want ad for transfer quarterbacks. The message said the team is seeking to sign a transfer or junior college quarterback, and that Wyoming provides a great opportunity for interested quarterbacks.
A statement from Cowboy Football Head Coach
Wyoming Cowboy Football
The references to Josh Allen certainly drive home the message: anyone who comes in and does well enough at Wyoming has a chance to succeed in the NFL despite the schools relatively small stature.
This sort of phenomenon would have been a non-starter a few years ago, but changes to transfer rules have made this sort of open appeal common and reasonable. There are a lot of coaches who openly hate that, but the smart ones are taking full advantage.
