Students pay a flat rate of $199 a month. This amount allows them to complete up to two proctored exams during that period. In other words, assuming they stay on track and satisfy course requirements, students can complete two three-credit courses for $99 a piece, or $33 per credit hour. Compare that to the credit hour cost at public colleges, where the per-credit charge will typically run $300 dollars or more.
Study.com has entered into partnerships with numerous universities that forge a much deeper integration of its online courses with the institutions degree requirements. As a result, at partnering universities like Thomas Edison State University, Colorado State University, and Purdue University Global as much as 75% of an undergraduate degree program can be satisfied by Study.com courses and prior credit. The remaining courses are taken at the degree-awarding institution, guided by the universitys advisors.
The exact number of credits that can be credited toward a given schools degree varies, depending on the program of study. So far, the most popular majors are business administration, computer science, nursing, data analytics, information technology, and cybersecurity.

Can An Hnd Holder Apply For A Master Degree In Canada
An HND holder can certainly apply for a masters degree in Canada. However, it is not likely that the student will be offered an admission directly into a masters program in Canada, if the student has only an HND certificate.
Canada is a popular destination for international students looking to pursue a masters program. Due to the high demand, most Canadian universities reserve spots in their masters program for students with a least a second class upper or better, bachelors degree and not HND.
On the other hand, if the student has an HND and also a Post-HND degree, it increases the chances that the student will be offered admission into a masters program in Canada.

Do Ds Transfer From Community College
Many schools ask for a C grade or better in order to transfer credits. But, there are ways you may still be able to transfer without losing credit for those courses where you earned a D. First, check the transfer policy of the school you want to go to. They may have a flexible policy on accepting credits for Ds. If not, you may want to meet with the college to see what options are available to you.
Second, consider staying at your community college long enough to earn your Associates degree. After you earn that degree, you can apply to a four year school knowing that your credits may transfer in a block. When you transfer credits as a block, individual grades may not be evaluated.

Canada Grading System For Undergraduate Degrees
The Canadian university grading system is quite unique in the sense that it is region dependent. The Canadian grading systems are a combination of percentages, GPAs and letter grades. This leaves a very big question as to what grade you fall in.
To get admission into a masters program in Canada, you need to have a minimum grade of 60% or standing of Second Class in your undergraduate.
But the question is how do you know youve made a 60%? You can use to guide below to calculate your CGPA.
Some institutions may allow 40-44% as a Pass Class. Such a score would be equivalent to a D grade.
As earlier mentioned, some universities in Canada use the 4.0 or 4.5 grading scale. However, well show you how to convert from one grading scale to the other.
To convert from a 4.0 scale to a 4.5 scale, first calculate the GPA on a 4.0 scale, and then convert to a 4.5 scale for the International Graduate Student Entrance Scholarship and International Graduate Student Scholarship using the following calculation:
Quarter Vs Semester Credits
;U.S. colleges and universities that operate on a semester system award semester credit. The UW operates on a quarter system and awards quarter credit.
- To convert quarter credits to semester credits, multiply by .67.
- To convert semester to quarter credits, multiply by 1.5.
Example: A student who earned 30 semester credits would be awarded 45 quarter credits in transfer at the UW.
College credit completed outside the U.S. at a school recognized by the Ministry of Education is evaluated differently: No more than one year of transfer credit will be awarded for one year of study. College and university credit from outside the U.S. is generally awarded a maximum of 45 quarter credits for each full year completed. Semester credits outside the U.S. may not be calculated the same as U.S. semester credits.
Articulation Questions And Review
Once your transfer courses have been posted to your WSU academic record,;if you believe;an articulated elective course should apply toward a specific WSU course requirement, please contact the academic department. For example, if you have questions about how an English course was articulated, contact the Department of English. Use the A-Z index on the eWeber portal to locate departmental contact information. Departments may require additional documentation, such as syllabi, for a more detailed evaluation.
