What if I dont know or dont have a StarID?
Former Minneapolis College students will need to create a StarID to access unofficial transcripts. Create your StarID If you have been away from the college for more than a year, you may not be able to create or activate a star ID, then follow the steps to order an official transcript. In most cases, you cannot pick up a copy of your transcript and take it to your new university. Instead, youll need your old school to directly send transcripts to the new school. This process can take some time, especially if youre seeking a transcript from a larger school or your transcripts are very old. So contact each school as early in the application process as possible.
Most schools ask you to provide a specific address to which to send your transcript. Your new schools registrar can provide this information. Contact them before completing a transcript request, because sending a transcript to the wrong office can delay the process or incur additional expenses. How To Get A Copy Of Your Transcript
You can view an unofficial copy of your transcript by logging into your student account and printing out your history. This transcript is free. A transcript is an exact copy of a students permanent academic record at the time it is issued. It can be either an official or an unofficial transcript, the latter usually issued directly to and only for the personal information of the student concerned. Partial transcripts are not issued. A Gadsden State Community College transcript only includes the students complete record at Gadsden State.
Transcripts covering a students secondary and previous college education that have been submitted to Gadsden State to meet a requirement for admission become part of the Registrars official file. The College does not reissue or certify copies of transcripts from other institutions. The student concerned must order any required transcripts directly from other institutions where the coursework was taken.
