Required Information To Sign Up For Mypass
To sign up, you must have:
- an Education Account
- the student’s Alberta Student Number
- the student’s date of birth
- a current personal email address
- school email addresses are not recommended
Students
Students can sign up at their high school or online with myPass. We encourage all high school students to sign up in Grade 10.
Parents or guardians
Parents or guardians can sign up at their child’s current high school.
Other individuals
A student can grant myPass access to other individuals by entering their email address in myPass and specifying the relationship. This will generate an access code. The other individual may then input this code along with their email address into myPass to view the students information.
What Is A High School Transcript Why Do You Need One
A high school transcript is a record of all your academic accomplishments in high school. It lists every class you took, when you took them, and the grades you received. Every student who attended high school has a transcript, and if you attended more than one high school, you will have a transcript from each school
You generally need a transcript for three reasons:
#1: To apply to college: Most colleges require an official copy of your high school transcript when you apply.
#2: To graduate or transfer high schools: High schools will look at your transcript in order to make sure you have met all your graduation requirements or to determine which classes you should enroll in if you transferred schools.
#3: To apply for some jobs: When applying for a job, you may be required to submit your high school transcript so the employer can look at your grades or see if you have taken certain courses applicable to the job.
How To Request A Replacement Credential:
Request online through George Brown College:
- Electronic copies of the credential are available to post-secondary graduates who attended after 1995 and Continuing Education students who completed their certificate after March 2020. These students can also request a replacement online. If you attended prior to 1995 or completed a Continuing Education Certificate prior to March 2020, please complete the Credential Replacement Request Form.
- As result of the College closure due to the global pandemic, please allow 4-6 weeks for mailing of the physical credential replacement. Please note, there may be longer than normal mailing times and some international destinations may be further delayed.

How Do I Request An Official Transcript
You can request an official transcript 24/7 through your student portal or the National Student Clearinghouse Transcript Ordering Center. Please check your unofficial transcript to make sure your coursework and grades have posted before ordering your official transcript.
You can request an electronic transcript or pay an additional fee for rush delivery of a paper transcript if you need expedited service. Please note, some limitations apply to rush deliveries.

Documents issued through MyCreds contain digital signatures that meet the legal requirements of certified digital documents in countries around the world.
