How Do I Stop A Score From Appearing On My Score Report
The AP Program allows you to cancel your AP Exam scores. When you request cancellation, your exam wont be scored, and if it has already been scored, the score will be permanently deleted from our records. Once a score is canceled, it cant be reinstated. Theres no fee for this service, but your exam fee is not refunded. Archived scores cant be canceled.
Scores can be canceled at any time, but for scores not to be sent to the college or university indicated online through the free score send in My AP, AP Services for Students must receive your request by June 15 of the year you took the AP Exam.
Another option is to choose to withhold one or more AP Exam scores from any college or scholarship program that you choose as a score recipient. The score will be withheld from any future score reports sent to that college or scholarship program. Unlike a cancellation request, a request to withhold a score does not permanently delete your score. The fee to withhold a score is $10 per score per college, which does not include the cost to send your score report to the designated institution.
You may later remove the withhold by sending AP Services a signed written request. There is no charge to remove a withhold on a score.
For scores to be withheld from the college or university indicated online through the free score send in My AP, AP Services for Students must receive your request and payment by June 15 of the year you took the AP Exam.
How Do I Get College Brochures In The Mail
Question: I was wondering if I can please get some brochures about colleges. How can I do that? Instead of going to the college, I want to receive them through the mail.
If you took the PSAT and indicated on your registration form that you would like to receive information from colleges, then you may already be getting material via snail mail or email. If not, the next time you sign up for standardized tests, pay attention to any questions you see that ask you if you would like to land on mailing lists.
Another way to get on mailing lists is to fill out forms that you’ll find on many college Web sites. First go to the college’s home page. Next, follow the links to “Admission” or “Undergraduate Admission” or “Prospective Students,” etc. From there, you may have a bit of a treasure hunt ahead of you, but there’s likely to be a link to a “Request More Information” or “Get On Our Mailing List” type of form.
For instance, at Lawrence University in Appleton, Wisconsin, you’d click on “Prospective Students” and then will find a “Connect and Visit” option on the Admissions page menu. From there, you’ll see a link to the “Request More Information” form at This is typical of many.
For the University of Arizona, you’d look for the “Future Students” link and and then you’ll see “My UA/Request Information” on the left-hand menu.

Orders placed between June 30, 2021, at 6:30 p.m. and July 26, 2021, at 6:30 p.m. ET won’t be processed until July 26.

Do Colleges Look At Ap Exam Scores When Deciding Whether To Admit An Applicant
Check the admissions websites of the colleges that interest you to see if sending your official scores will help support your application. In general, colleges want to see that youre taking the most rigorous coursework available to you. By enrolling in AP courses, you demonstrate that youre interested in challenging yourself and learning at a college level.
An Aside: What If You’re Waitlisted
Sometimes, instead of getting a college acceptance letter or rejection, you’ll get a letter stating that you’ve been waitlisted. This means that the college is still considering you for admission depending on how many admitted applicants choose to enroll.
As a result, you’ll need to decide whether you want to stay on the waitlist to see if you get off it, or take yourself off the waitlist, thereby eliminating your chances of getting in.
If you decide to stay on the waitlist, you won’t get a college decision notification until possibly as late as August, right before the school year starts. When you hear back ultimately depends on the school and how quickly it’s able to fill up its new freshman class.
