CUNY Bernard M Baruch College s average GPA is 3.3. CUNY Bernard M Baruch College does require GPA.This average GPA means CUNY Bernard M Baruch College is very selective. Often times, schools in this range are trying to increase their selectivity and prestige. We cant read the minds of Baruch application readers, but they likely want to increase the average GPA from 3.3 to 3.47 this year – to play it safe, we recommend striving for the 3.47 GPA.

*BEFORE CONTINUING PLEASE NOTE: GPA and prestige DO NOT mean a college is right for you. CUNY Bernard M Baruch College may seem amazing on paper, but you may hate it… Thats why 700,000 students transfer colleges every year – they end up going to the wrong school. Its crucial to watch the videos on CampusReel and make sure you can envision yourself on Baruchs campus. These Baruch admission statistics do not sufficiently tell you what a college or university is like.

    What Are The Transfer Policies

Transfer credit will only be granted from institutions that are listed on the student’s admission application. Transfer credit for institutions not listed on the admission application may be denied. In addition, failure to list all postsecondary institutions attended will subject a student to disciplinary action and a review of the admission decision.

Transfer students may receive credit for courses equivalent to courses at Baruch College completed with a grade of D- or better at colleges of the City University and/or with a grade of C or better at other regionally accredited colleges. For courses for which there are no specific equivalents at Baruch College, elective credit may be assigned by the transfer center. Further documentation such as course syllabus/course description will be requested for possible transfer credits. You may receive transfer credit for a course or its equivalent only once. Credit cannot be earned twice for the same course.

If a course was taken on a pass/fail basis at another institution, the official transcript must state that the pass grade equals a C or better for transfer credit to be considered. All final official transcripts must be received for the Transfer Student Services Center to complete a final transfer credit evaluation.

Transferring From Baruch To Nyu Or Columbia

< p> I am a HS junior out of state, in Fl, and I plan on going to Baruch, for there Undergraduate Zicklin School of Business which is well respected! Although after two years I want too transfer to NYU or Columbia. Mainly into NYU stern though. Do you guys have any advice on how to make it possible to transfer from CUNY Baruch into NYU? Is it possible in the first place? Also what will they look at? < /p>

    < p> Thank you very much < /p>

< p> Are you considering Baruch for two years for the cost considerations? It is true that Baruch is quite a bit cheaper than Stern, even for OOS students.< /p>

< p> However, transferring into competitive schools like Columbia and NYU Stern is even harder than getting in for freshman admission. Columbia says that their transfer admission rate is somewhere around 1-4%. Thats because very few students leave Columbia once they are in, so they dont have as many slots for people to transfer in. Also, in my experience, Columbia transfer students tend to have gone to comparable universities/colleges for their first two years and transferred for fit reasons. NYU doesnt state these statistics but I would imagine its similar given how popular Stern is as a choice for business. They do say, however, that transfer admission is highly competitive and that students who are successful show extraordinary achievements in high school and college.< /p>

    < p> NYU probably has similar requirements.< /p>

Baruch College Virtual Tour: New Student & Family Programs

Hi all the amazing monkies.I am a HS senior and very settled to pursue a career within the IB industry, specifically FO because I had some exposure to M& A. Though still have a long way to go in order to excel in this field, I am very determined to presevere, and I also think my personality is a great fit for this industry.

The problem now, is that I really doubt if I’ll get into NYU Stern , as much as I want to get in and it’s my dream school, but due to extenuating conditions, my grades and test scores don’t seem appealing. I am an international applicant , and desire to spend my 4 years of undergrad in NYC. Because honestly, nothing beats the NYC environment and opportunities. Aside from Columbia and NYU Stern, only Fordam, CUNY Baruch, and Pace left within the NYC area. I realized the gaps between these schools are huge, but I am pretty determined to live in NYC.

Is CUNY Baruch a decent alternation? Since Fordham doesn’t offer OCR, Baruch has a WallStreet Program that seems very interesting. Nonetheless, I found that majority of the Baruch OCRs are looking for BO positions, and it’ll be nearly impossible for Baruch students to land a BBFO internship. Please confirm or clarify this?

That’s a lot of information and please bear with my gramattical/verbal disorganizations.Thank you all monkies, I really appreciate this.

Can I Move Schools In Year 11

Moving your child in Year 10 or 11 can be particularly problematic as it is sometimes unlikely that their GCSE course can be matched at a different school so if moving your child you must check with both the school they are at and the school you wish them to transfer to that they can offer that subject and to the same

I aim to graduate within three years and I know it will be more difficult to achieve this goal if I choose to transfer to another college.I did some research on the Baruch core curriculum and I don’t know how does it work when they transfer my credits? By the way, I’m currently studying in the other 4-year CUNY college.Like one of their requirement is to finish English writing, which is similar to the English class I am having now. But what I’m worried about is that Baruch just transfer the credit but still ask me to retake the English class. Many other example like this, the name and content of the class is not 100% the same. Baruch To Investment Banker

I am currently a senior in high school and will be attending Baruch College through the Macaulay Honors College in the fall. I have always wanted to pursue a career in investment banking, hedge funds, bond trading, etc. Basically where all the money is, lol who doesnt want to be rich.

I have heard people looking at the glass half empty saying unless you come from an ivey you have no chance in IB.I have also hear people looking at the glass half full saying no matter what college you go to, as long as you work hard you will have a chance.

Now I understand I may not have as well of a chance of somebody coming from Harvard, but how much of a chance will I have coming from Baruch. Any advice on what I should do during my college career to better my chances of landing a SA position would be greatly appreciated.

Also, my ultimate goal is to become an investment banker and I was thinking about being an accountant if IB does not work out. There are 2 majors I am interested in, Accounting and Finance/Investments. Will majoring in Accounting, to have as a backup, hurt my chances?, should I major in Finance/Investments to get the best background?
