Whatever grade you get, be proud of your hard work. Sometimes we wont get that A we hoped for, or that B. You might get a C, but know that its college, and this is not an easy feat. Its hard to get grades higher than a C college level is C, so that means you are doing your work efficiently. If you find that you are slacking in a class, you always have the option to withdraw, or buck up and try harder to boost your grade.

Stress can be overwhelming. Im one to talk. I talk but stress all the time. I get anxious at the smallest things. However, as Im growing older, I am learning that stress isnt good. It makes us less productive. So, let it settle, and do the best you can in college .

For many colleges, the activity fee associated with your tuition enables you to use certain college facilities such as the library, the gym or recreation center, fields, conference rooms, etc. Familiarize yourself with what your college offers you, and use it for both work and recreation to help you study easier and keep fit.
Research Tuition Assistance Programs
If youre interested in joining the armed forces, the sooner, the better. The Army, Air Force, Navy, Marines and Coast Guard all offer tuition assistance programs, and many of them cover up to 100% of your tuition and fees.
Dont do it just for the money, though. These programs are an investment for the military, so your chosen branch will require a certain number of years of service to qualify.
Alternatively, some other employers offer tuition assistance programs for their employees, even part-time employees. Keep that in mind when youre looking for a job.

If youre a current Ontario high school student interested in applying to college, let your high school guidance counsellor know. Most high schools will send your grades to ontariocolleges.ca for you at the appropriate times throughout the year.
Youll still need to verify that your grades are correct in your application. Check under Docs or Supporting Documents on the Dashboard Home screen in early December, early March, mid-May and mid-July to ensure your most current records are displaying. If something is missing or incorrect, tell your guidance counsellor right away.
Once your grades are received, they will be sent to your college choice within 1 to 2 business days.
Exception Night School / Summer School / Online Courses
The time it takes for your documents to reach ontariocolleges.ca will vary. Once received, we will post your information under Docs or Supporting Documents on the Dashboard within 1 business day and send it to your college choice within 2 to 3 business days.
